Day 1: Arrival in Kigali and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
When you arrive, our safari guide will meet you at Kigali International Airport. You will then travel to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, stopping for lunch on the way.
At Bwindi, you will check into your lodge, have dinner, and rest for the night.
Day 2: Gorilla Tracking & Transfer to Kigali
Wake up early and have breakfast. Head to the park headquarters for a briefing at 7:30 AM. During the briefing, you will be assigned a gorilla group and learn the rules for tracking.
It is important to listen carefully and follow the instructions. Feel free to ask questions if you have any.
After the briefing, you will enter the forest to look for the gorillas.
The trek may take between two and eight hours, depending on how far the gorillas are.
When you find the gorillas, you will spend one hour watching them in their natural home.
After this exciting experience, you will drive back to Kigali to catch your late evening flight.
