Day 1: Fly to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After an early breakfast, you transfer to Entebbe International Airport for your flight to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in southwestern Uganda. The flight takes about 2 hours, so you skip the long road journey entirely. You arrive around midday, depending on your flight time, and have lunch at your safari lodge.
Day 2: Mountain Gorilla Trekking
After breakfast, you head to park headquarters for a 7:30 AM briefing that lasts about 30 minutes. Rangers divide visitors into groups before the trek into the forest begins.
Gorilla trekking takes 2 to 8 hours depending on the gorilla family’s location that day. Once you find them, you spend one full hour observing the group, then return to the lodge for a late lunch.
Day 3: Batwa Experience and Transfer to Kampala
