Day 1: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park and Visit Gorilla Guardians Village
You travel to Volcanoes National Park, passing hills, farms, gardens, and forests along the way. The drive takes about 3 to 4 hours. On arrival, you visit Iby’Iwacu Cultural Village, also known as Gorilla Guardians Village, where you enjoy traditional music and dance, taste local food, meet traditional healers, and learn about Rwandan customs. Dinner and overnight stay at your lodge.
Day 2: Hike Mount Bisoke
After breakfast, you attend a short briefing at the park office before starting the hike at 8:00 AM. The climb takes about 5 to 6 hours, and hiring a porter to carry your backpack can make the trek easier.

A park guide leads you into the forest to find your assigned gorilla group, with chances to spot monkeys and birds along the way. Once you find the gorillas, you spend one hour observing them. After the trek, you return to your lodge to check out, then drive to Kigali International Airport for your flight home.
