He will explain what to expect and how to behave in the different countries during the trip. If you arrive in the morning, you will head for lunch first.

After lunch, visit the local markets where you can buy some items and exchange money to local currency.

Then, visit the genocide memorial site to watch documentaries and pay tribute to over 250,000 innocent people who lost their lives in the Tutsi and Hutu ethnic conflict.

End the day with dinner and a restful night.

Day 2: Depart to Nyungwe National Park

After breakfast, check out and drive 4 to 5 hours to Nyungwe National Park, home to over 13 unique primate species, with chimpanzees being the most famous.

The drive goes through scenic routes with hills, green vegetation, and friendly locals waving at you.

Stop for lunch on the way, and arrive in the evening at your accommodation near the park. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Chimp tracking & canopy walk

Start the day with an early breakfast before heading to the park headquarters for registration and briefing by the rangers.

They will explain the rules and prepare you for a trek lasting 1 to 6 hours, depending on your speed and where the chimpanzees are.

Chimpanzees share over 98% of human DNA and behave like us. They live mostly in the treetops but sometimes come to the ground.

The jungle is also home to other primates, birds, reptiles, and unique trees you will see during the trek.

After finding the chimpanzees, you get one hour to observe, take photos, and learn more. Afterward, enjoy lunch.

In the afternoon, experience the canopy walk. It offers great views, birds, and the park landscape. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After breakfast, leave Nyungwe and drive 4 to 5 hours to Uganda. Enjoy the beautiful landscape, cool climate, and plantations. Stop at the border post for documents to enter Uganda.

After the trek, return for lunch and relaxation. In the evening, visit the Batwa community for traditional performances and stories.
