How to Apply for the East Africa Tourist Visa

Getting an East Africa tourist visa is now a simple process because applications are done online.
An East Africa tourist visa is a travel permit that allows travelers to enter Kenya, Uganda, and Rwanda for tourism. The visa is valid for 90 days and allows multiple entries into these three countries.
However, travelers must first enter the country that issued the visa before visiting the others.
To apply for this visa, tourists need to access the online application form on the immigration portals of Kenya, Uganda, or Rwanda.
You will fill in the application form and upload the required documents, which include a valid passport (with at least six months validity beyond your travel dates), a recent passport-size photo, a yellow fever vaccination certificate, a return ticket, and a travel itinerary.
After completing the application, you will need to pay a non-refundable visa fee of USD 100.
Once you submit your application, you will wait about 3 to 7 business days for processing. If your application is approved, you will receive an email and will then visit the immigration office to provide your biometrics, after which the visa will be granted.
It is advisable to apply for your visa at least a month before your travel date to avoid any possible delays.
When you arrive in East Africa, the visa allows you to travel freely within Kenya, Rwanda, and Uganda without limits.
The East Africa tourist visa is the best way to visit Kenya, Uganda, and Rwanda for wildlife experiences and nature exploration.
Applying early will give you enough time to prepare for your trip.
