Detailed 3-Day Entebbe to Bwindi Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
You will leave Entebbe very early in the morning at 7 a.m. You will drive towards Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The drive will take you through small towns and green farms.
You will see people working in their gardens, children walking to school, and animals grazing in the fields.
You will stop for lunch on the way and then continue the drive. When you arrive at Bwindi, you will check in at your lodge and rest. In the evening, you may choose to visit the Batwa community.
The Batwa are people who lived in the forest many years ago. They will show you how they used to make fire, hunt for food, and gather fruits.
You will watch them dance and listen to their songs. You can also taste their local food if you want.
Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After an early breakfast, your guide will take you to the park office. You will get a short talk about the gorilla trek. You will then join a group of eight people to start the trek.
You will walk through the thick forest, climbing steep hills and walking on slippery paths. You may hold tree branches to help you walk.
When you find the gorillas, you will spend one hour with them. You will watch them eat, play, and rest. It is a special moment to see the silverback gorilla and the young ones.
You can take photos, but you should not use flash.
Day 3: Fly back to Entebbe
After breakfast, drive back to Kampala or Entebbe to mark the end of your trip.
