Reservation
A deposit of 40% is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance must be paid 20 days before the trip starts. Gorilla tracking permit fees must be paid in advance so we can book the permits early before you arrive.
Cancellation
Any money paid will be refunded, minus the cost of cancellation fees charged by hotels, food purchases, and other related expenses. Payments for gorilla tracking permits and air tickets are not refundable. Please see our cancellation rates below:
- 60 or more days before arrival – 80% refund
- 50 to 59 days before arrival – 60% refund
- 40 to 49 days before arrival – 40% refund
- 30 to 39 days before arrival – 20% refund
- 10 to 29 days before arrival – 10% refund
- Less than 10 days before arrival – 0% refund
Transportation
Cars, minibuses, land rovers, coaches, or trucks will be provided based on the route and the number of participants. We have the right to use subcontractors when needed. English-speaking driver-guides are provided during the trip.
Accommodation
Accommodation is based on two people sharing a double room, tent, or banda. Where possible, rooms with private bathrooms are provided. Single rooms are available at an extra cost but are not guaranteed. The hotels or lodges listed are only examples of the category, and rooms may be booked in similar hotels or lodges.
Alteration to tours
The company has the right to change the arrangements or cancel a scheduled tour if needed. It also has the right to refuse or remove any person from a tour at any time. In such cases, a fair refund will be given. Prices are based on the costs and tariffs at the time of printing and can change without notice.
Liability
The company and its agents act only as agents for the passenger in all matters related to hotel or lodge accommodation, tours, transport, and other services. They are not responsible for any injury, delay, loss, or damage of any kind.
The company’s responsibility for passengers in its own vehicles is governed by the laws of the country where the tour takes place, not any other country. All claims must be handled in the courts of the country where the issue happens. The company also has the right to use subcontractors for all or part of the services.
Note
All trips involve some personal risk and can sometimes be unsafe. Travelers must accept this risk. We are not responsible for any loss, damage, injury, expense, delay, or inconvenience to you or your baggage, whether directly or indirectly caused, or from anything beyond our control. All participants are advised to get insurance to cover personal accidents and medical costs. We can help arrange this at a low cost.
Climbing
Mountain climbing gear is not included in the tour cost, but we can help you hire it if you did not bring your own.
